As a business, our Environmental, Social and Corporate Government policy is not an add-on. It’s intrinsic to our values – it’s our purpose – and it shapes the way we work every day.
True is a certified B Corporation – which means we’ve been certified to have met the rigorous social and environmental standards which represent its commitment to goals outside of profit. The B Corp certification addresses the entirety of a business’ operations and covers five key impact areas of Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers.
True is part of a community of more than 5,000 businesses globally who have been certified as B Corps. The B Corp community in the UK, representing a broad cross section of industries and sizes, comprises more than 700 companies and include well-known brands such as The Guardian, Innocent, Patagonia, The Body Shop and organic food pioneers Abel & Cole.
We went beyond to make our business B Corp compliant; and we’ll make sure that the visionary companies we work with — and all the people their work touches — will feel the benefit.
We’re humbled to be included in the B Corp UK 'Best for the World' List for the second year running. Our positive impact on ‘The Workers’ was highlighted, which is really important to us as we believe our people are our most valuable assets.
We see governance as more than just compliance. We insist upon transparency with all of our investment partners; we ensure that the companies we invest in work responsibly, and adhere to all employment and environmental regulations. We hold our own organisation to account through our B Corporation certificate. We’re a people-first organisation, and we’re working hard to make sure we offer opportunities or all. We believe that as a group, we must use our influence for good, and create positive change in business. And we use our charitable endeavours to help create a wider positive impact.
